Explosion Box with Sweet Peony

Hello Lovely people there....

For today i have a cute explosion box card with a gorgeous cake in the center beautifully adorned with sweet peony collection from Heartfelt Creations.!!!!! This is mine second creation that i created for the finals of their DT call .

 Instructions
Take white cardstock 12 x 12, score at 4 inch and 8 inch both vertically and horizontally. Cut and remove the corner squares so that the final shape resembles a ‘plus’ sign .Fold on all the score lines to make the base of the explosion box.
For creating pockets take two 4 ½ x 4 ½ white cardstock, cut diagonally creating a triangle , score at ½ inch both vertically and horizontally , apply double sided tape on ½ inch scored area. Overlap two triangles from the centre and attach on to the two opposite flaps of explosion box base for creating pockets.
 Make the lid with 6- ¼ x 6- ¼ inch white cardstock by scoring at 1 inch from all the four sides. For the stand of explosion box take one piece of 5 x 5 and four pieces of 5 x 1 chipboard, attach 1 inch piece on all the four sides of 5 x 5 chipboard creating a box and cover with cardstock.
Mat the base, stand and lid of explosion box first with Green Cardstock and then with Pattern paper from Sweet Peony Collection. (Optional distress the edges of the green cardstock and pattern paper).
For the cake in the center of explosion box create three boxes with white cardstock and stack them on top of each other. 
1)      5 x 5, score at 1 , 4 , 5 on both the sides (3 x 3 inch box )
2)      4 x 4,score at 1 , 3, 4, on both the sides (2 x 2 inch box)
3)      3 x 3, score at 1, 2, and 3 on both the sides (1 x 1 inch box) fold on the score lines and create boxes.
 Cut tags and sentiments form the paper collection, mat with green cardstock and insert tags inside the pockets. Adore outside of the pockets with sentiment cutouts, further cut out 3 x 3 pattern paper from the collection mats with green cardstock and paste on top of lip with 3d foam tape. 

 For flowers stamp with Large and Small Sweet peony stamp sets using Archival ink cobalt and cut them using coordinating dies. Color the flower center with Archival ink cobalt; make sure to color the back of the petals also. For shaping the flowers use Emma Lou’s Video.
 Leaves – Stamp bunch of leaves from Classic Rose Stamp and Sweet Peony stamp sets with Archival ink library green, cut the images with coordinating dies.  Color them with Archival ink – Olive, library green and Color box ink - Lime pastel.
 Assemble the flowers and leaves as shown. Paste metal embellishments with clear dry glue. Optional - on top of cardstock cake paste heart shaped MDF cutout and apply glitter on top of pollens.

Hoop, Glitter, Pencil colors, corrugated sheet , yellow pollens , Green moss , Distress ink Walnut Stain , Vintage Photo ,Archival ink – Saffron , Vibrant Fuchsia , Sepia ,Clear glue , Chipboard, Green Cardstock , Brown Cardstock. 
 Instructions
Choose pattern paper from the collection and cut it to the size of hoop, for more strength backs it with chipboard of same size. Cut a circle out of corrugated sheet and color with Distress ink Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo. Stamp the cage and owl images from the HFC Sugar Hallow Bungalow Cling Stamp with Archival Ink Sepia, die cut with coordinating die and color with pencil colors. Cut out quotes from the pattern paper collection and mat them with coordinating cardstock.
Color flowers with Archival ink Vibrant Fuchsia and Color Box Fluid Chalk Ink pad Berrylicious , for leaves use Archival ink Library Green ,Olive and Distress ink Peeled Paint , Pine Needles. For Shaping the flowers watch Emma Lou’s Video. Apply Crystal Clear Frosting Glitter on the edges of flowers with clear glue and heat set. Once all the elements are ready assemble the project as shown. Use glitter on the quotes and rub randomly on the hoop.

Project - 2 for Heartfelt Semi Finals

12 x 12 inch Canvas, Clear Gesso, White Gesso , Modeling paste , Dry Tape , Dusty Attic chipboard , Distress ink – peeled paint , pine needle, Prima art alchemy –metallic plum preserves , Distress stickles , Distress Diamond Dust ,Archival ink – Jet Black ,Library Green, Olive , Multi medium Matte , Distress crackle paint clear rock candy, Distress Spray – Spun Sugar , Victorian Velvet , Spiced Marmalade, 3D foam tape

Instructions –
Choose the pattern paper from the collection, cut it to the size of 11 x 11 distresses the edges and make a cut on the upper left side of pattern paper, role the pattern paper outside creating shape V.
 Paste the pattern paper on 12 x 12 inch canvas with multi medium matte and apply dry tape randomly on the 1 inch space of canvas. Apply a coat of clear gesso on the entire surface and dry with heat tool. Tone down the color of the pattern paper by applying a light wash of white gesso. Stamp the pattern paper with Classic Rose Vines Cling stamp using black archival ink. Create texture using modeling paste and stencil. Color with sprays on the shade of pink , orange and purple. The chipboard is colored using acrylic paint. Arrange the pictures with 3D foam tape, paste die cut Decorative Medallion on both the sides of pictures. For the flowers use Color Box ink Dark Peony, Harvest, Warm Red, Red barn and for leaves use Archival ink – Library Green, Olive and Distress ink – Pine Needles, Peeled paint. For shaping the flowers use Emma Lou’s Video. Apply glitter on the flowers with clear glue and once dried properly, assemble all the elements as shown.

Happy Birthday Card - Project 1 for Heartfelt Creations Semi finals

Hello All

Flowers are my all time projects to work , they make me so much happy and let me completely lost in the world of creativity. Flowers can make anyone happy in no time and i love to use them in most of my projects or to be true on all the projects !!!! Ha ha ha

 Instructions
Cut pattern paper 6 x 10-1/2. Distress the edges and die cut both the ends using HFC Decorative Medallion die and mat with Wine Red Cardstock leaving ¼ inch boarder all the sides. Mat this further with Green cardstock and then Brown cardstock leaving ¼ inch boarder from the base layer ,on all the sides .For the Card base cut White Cardstock 14 x 11-1/2, score at 7 and fold ,
Die cut White Cardstock using HFC Decorative Medallion die and mat with Wine Red Cardstock . Cut Happy Birthday Quote from the Pattern Paper, roll up one corner and mat with Green and then with Brown Cardstock. For flowers stamp with HFC Rose Cling Stamp using Pink Peony Archival ink, die cut with coordinating die and color with Color Box Chalk Ink – Harvest, Orchid Pastel and Archival ink – Plum. For Leaves use Archival ink Library Green for stamping and color with Archival ink Olive and Distress ink Peeled Paint, Pine Needles.
For shaping the flowers watch Emma Lou’s Video. Apply Glass Glitter on the flowers with clear glue once dried properly arrange all the elements together as shown. Finishes off with Butterfly cut out from the pattern paper .Optional arrange pollens and green colored gauges around the flowers.
