Bunny Love

Hello Crafty Folks .....

Valentine month is approaching and its always nice to let your loved ones know how much you value them

With these thoughts in my mind i created a cute love card with the new release of Susan's Garden - Elizabeth Craft Designs .You can check out the collection  here

Here's my card

Its a 6-1/2 x 8-1/2 card and i have used Garden Notes Hydrangea from the new collection.

Elizabeth Craft Designs only have great dies but amazing stamps and stencils too .
For creating the background of this card i stamped the Soft Finish Card stock with sentiment stamps and than distressed with inks.

Did you noticed the greens and tiny stones around the bunny ,i created them using the new stencil - Behind The Scenes - Great Outdoors.
Its so cool and instantly completed my background.

The cute little bunnies are first stamped , colored and than fussy cut.
On the edges of the white card stock , i used ECD Diamond microfine silk glitter and totally loved the  shine.
The fun thing with these glitter is that if you gently rub these glitter after applying on adhesive they sparkle more !!! yes they do. Isn't it awesome.

Do share how you like it and leave your comments.

Hello Everyone , and a warm welcome to my first post for  Elizabeth craft designs

New year started with a bang for me as one of my dream comes true i.e to be on the design team of Susan's Garden Club -Elizabeth craft designs , what could be better than this for a person like me  who loves to create handmade flowers.

Today i played with soon to be released GN  Tulip die.We have a whole lot of new dies coming which you will surely love ,find them here.

Have a look at my card!!!!!

The finished card measures 6 by 8.

I scored  blue card stock at every  1/8 inch and than layered it on top of white card stock.

For the center i die cut the white card stock with stitched oval die and than embossed it using heart strings embossing folder. The outer edge of the this was covered with glitter.

For the flowers, leaves and fillers flowers i used solid color card stock and added a bit of color with distress ink. They are than embossed using susan's tool and mini molding pad.

Finally did my placement and finish of the card with a sentiment.

Altered art - Yesterday a kettle now a candy jar

Hai  crafty people there...

Today's post is about an altered art ,this is my first attempt with something like this and believe me i am too nervous about it.

Its a old kettle which my mom got from her family when she got married , and was not in use since long . The moment i noticed it in the corner of the kitchen i know i have a plan for it !!!!!!!

And here what i come up with.

I  added varied textures by using art stones , sand , tape , embellishments , beads etc  and layers of paint.

I am going to place it on my dinning table and use it as candy jar ( a perfect mix of sweetness both from candies and memories).

Supplies used;-

 Prima Black gesso
Prima Sand paste
Mesh tape
Lace
Finnabair Art stones
Prima alchemy paints
Dusty attic colors
Micro beads
