Altered art - Yesterday a kettle now a candy jar

Hai  crafty people there...

Today's post is about an altered art ,this is my first attempt with something like this and believe me i am too nervous about it.

Its a old kettle which my mom got from her family when she got married , and was not in use since long . The moment i noticed it in the corner of the kitchen i know i have a plan for it !!!!!!!

And here what i come up with.

I  added varied textures by using art stones , sand , tape , embellishments , beads etc  and layers of paint.

I am going to place it on my dinning table and use it as candy jar ( a perfect mix of sweetness both from candies and memories).

Supplies used;-

 Prima Black gesso
Prima Sand paste
Mesh tape
Lace
Finnabair Art stones
Prima alchemy paints
Dusty attic colors
Micro beads
